Udaipur horror-like fate, Naveen Kumar Jindal gets e-mail threats

NEW DELHI: A day after a man in Udaipur was beheaded for endorsing Nupur Sharma, former BJP party leader Naveen Kumar Jindal asserted on Wednesday that he had received an email replete with threats.

Jindal said that he had received three emails that were repleted with threats in a letter to the Delhi Police. He claimed that the sender had threatened to slice his throat. "They have threatened to kill me in a manner similar to that of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur. To frighten me, they included a video showing Kanhaiya Lal being killed "Tweets from Jindal.

He had previously been told that he would die like Kamlesh Tiwari and that there was nothing on earth that could save him. He said that the accused had dared him to leave the house unaccompanied.

After controversy over his remarks supporting BJP spokeswoman Nupur Sharma's speech against the Prophet, who is currently suspended from the party, Jindal was expelled from the party. The fired leader also said that he had been followed a few days prior when he went to meet someone. He had disclosed this information to the police.
