Uddhav Thackeray in Mansukh case, says 'Let us investigate first'

Mumbai: The role of Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Vaze in the suspected death of Mansukh has been questioned by former state Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis. In such a situation, the state government has transferred Sachin Vaze from Mumbai Crime Branch in view of the increasing pressure of opposition in this whole matter. Seeing the current situation, Uddhav Thackeray has said, 'Let this matter be investigated. Whoever is found guilty in this case will not be spared.' Indeed, Uddhav Thackeray spoke to journalists after the end of the budget session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

Devendra has claimed that 'Vaze is a member of Thackeray's party, Shiv Sena.' On this statement, Uddhav said, 'Sachin Vaze joined the party in the year 2008 but after that, he did not renews his membership. It has nothing to do with the Shiv Sena.' Apart from this, he also said that 'Praful Khoda Patel, the administrator of Dadra Nagar Haveli was also in the BJP earlier, whose name was taken by MP Mohan Delkar in his suicide note.' However, earlier Fadnavis had raised this issue in the state assembly on Tuesday and demanded the arrest of Vaze.

During that time, he had made a serious charge and said, "Before this incident, this car was with Sachin Vaze for four months." BJP leader Ashish Shelar, reacting to the whole case, said, "Sachin Vaze was tampering with the evidence, in this case, he should be arrested."
