Mumbai: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, while softening his stand, praised PM Modi's performance. Thackeray also described the alliance as unbreakable. Considering the upcoming assembly elections, it is considered a relief for the BJP. During his address at a function, Thackeray commended the Prime Minister for abolishing most of the provisions of Article 370 and appealed for the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya and a uniform civil code. Shiv Sena chief said, PM Modi Narendra Modi has provided leadership and direction to the country which has immense potential for progress and development. I congratulate Modi for ending most of the provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution and for the Chandrayaan-2 campaign. Now the nation is waiting for the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya and a uniform civil code. He said, Kashmir is and will remain an integral part of India. Modi has proved it not only in words but in reality. Thackeray said that the country is also proud of ISRO scientists for the ambitious moon mission. He said, India has immense potential and Modi has got leadership to guide the country. Thackeray also said that the alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party will continue. Describing the alliance as unbreakable, Uddhav said that it will return to power in the state.
