NEW DELHI: Despite all the new technologies and changes, the tragedy on the cricket field is not coming to an end. There have been several incidents on the cricket ground which have led to the death of the players. Earlier, Australian batsman Phil Hughes also died after being bowled out during the batting. Indian cricketer Raman Lamba died in a similar case. Apart from that, a number of incidents are also coming up. During one match, the batsman shot and the ball went straight to the umpire's head. The umpire was rushed to the hospital after the accident but could not be saved. The incident took place during the Division 2 match where the match between Pembroke and Narberth was played in Wales. In the match between Pembroke and Narberth, 80-year-old John Williams was also responsible for field umpiring. The match was held on 13th July and the batsman's shot came on the head of umpire John Williams and he fainted there. Usain Bolt ran not for the records but for this reason! He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he was treated for several days, but finally succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, August 15. Despite the efforts of the doctors, they could not be saved. According to reports, the match was immediately stopped when John Williams hit the ball on his head and was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff via an ambulance. On his way to the hospital, he was in a coma. On August 2, he was shifted from Cardiff to the ICU of Witwick Hospital, but despite a million attempts, he could not be saved and died.
