Una players' great performance in Veteran Badminton competition, stay on top

State-level Master Veteran Badminton competition has been organized in Una district of Himachal where players have performed brilliantly. The purpose of organizing this tournament is to attract youth towards badminton. For your information, let us tell that in the state level Master Veteran Badminton Competition, the players of Una district have done well in the competition held at Kumharhatti Solan. Una's Dharmendra and Pins were runners-up in the doubles competition in the age group of 35 years.

According to reports, the players of district Una have shown their talent by participating in different age groups. In the 40 plus mixed doubles category, Deepak Manocha and Urvashi Thapa won the title of winner. Rakesh Singh and Kusul Lata were runners-up. In 45 plus singles, Rajiv Sachdeva was the winner and Dr. Komal Malik was the runner-up.

Badminton Association Secretary Deepak Kumar congratulated the players for their excellent performance. In 50 plus singles Harvindra Singh winner and in the doubles category Baldev and SR Bhatia won the title of winner. Ashok Angra and Cai in 55 plus doubles category. Colonel Rajput was the runner-up. The Una district team defeated Shimla's team in the final match of the badminton competition. In the Master Veteran Badminton Competition, Senior Vice President of the District Badminton Association TL Walia, Ashok Thakur, Co-Secretary Prof SK Bansal, Narendra Kapila, Jagtar Singh, Pankaj Mehta, Pankaj Kumar, Tanu and Manoj etc. were present.
