Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a two-day visit to Mizoram. The official said that Shah's visit will start from January 9 and he will arrive at Lengpui Airport on Saturday, where he is expected to be received by Mizoram chief minister Zoramthanga. The official said that Shah will visit and inspect Land Custom Station at Zokhawthar village in Champhai district along the Indo-Myanmar border. He will leave for Delhi on Sunday. Earlier, Union minister Shah visited Manipur where he laid the foundation stone for a slew of multipurpose projects. On January 24, Shah will visit Kokrajhar in Assam. He is expected to participate in a government programme. The next day the Union Minister will participate in a party programme. He may also address public gatherings too. Earlier, he visited Assam on December 26 and laid foundation stones for a super-speciality hospital and eleven law colleges.
