As per the information received, there is an elderly orphan ashram named Janaki in Shirol Tehsil Ghosarwad, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The couple has been identified as Baburao Patil, 75, and Anusaya Shinde, 70. They have been living in this ashram for the last two years. Baburao's wife and Anusaya's husband died. These two were living in the old age home as each other's support. Baburao Patil proposed to old Anusaya a few days ago and talked about getting married. However she refused for marriage but after 8 days, she agreed. When Babasaheb Pujari, the administrator of the ashram came to know about this, he got both of them married with Hindu customs with in the Janaki Ashram. The people of Asharam revealed that the duo got each other’s support in old age. At the same time, after marriage, both the elders said that they have got together in this age.
