The Corona epidemic is expected to increase tension in Central America, Russia and Iran. The US has submitted a letter to the United Nations to reimpose all sanctions on Iran. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has told the United Nations that Iran violated the terms of the 2015 nuclear deal.

The US on Thursday handed a letter to the 15-member UN Security Council accusing Tehran of non-compliance. The letter states that Iran has violated the terms of the agreement, so all suspended sanctions should be re-enacted. However, major powers like Russia are against this move of America. Russia believes that sanctions should not be reinstated.

Iran has rejected the US accusations and said that Washington has no right to ban again. Iran has also demanded members of the Security Council to reject the US proposal. It may be noted that sanctions on Iran had softened after the 2015 nuclear deal, but President Donald Trump pulled the US out of the deal two years ago. Last week, America's attempt to impose an indefinite ban on Iran's arms failures. Now America wants to pursue its interest through diplomatic means. In a letter to the UN, Mike Pompeo has said that Iran has violated any terms of the agreement. He has said that Iran has accumulated more than 3.67% uranium reserves, which is a violation of the agreement.
