Lucknow: BJP MLA Janmejaya Singh of Sadar seat of Deoria city of UP, the country's largest state, died of a heart attack in Lucknow late on Thursday night. He was 75 years old.

The same family members said that when his health deteriorated at night, he was first taken to the civil hospital. After that, the situation deteriorated at ten o'clock at night and the Lohia Institute was referred. Seeing the doctors of medicine here referred the cardiology department. According to Lohia Institute spokesperson and MS Dr. Vikram Singh, he died while applying pace maker. He had a heart attack.

Earlier, reports of his COVID-19 virus infection had come negative in the civil hospital. MLA Janmejaya Singh was also MLA from BSP earlier. He is saddened by the untimely death of MLA Janmejaya Singh from UP Vidhan Sabha Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit Deoria. The Speaker said that Janmejaya Singh represented Deoria constituency as a BJP member in the 16th and 17th Vidhan Sabha of UP. Janmejaya Singh was always ready for every situation of the respected people of his constituency. With his death, we have personal loss along with Deoria district and state politics. He prayed to God that he should give peace to the departed soul and to the heartbroken family to bear this immense thunderbolt. With this, his departure has had a significant impact on politics.
