Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Tripura on March 8

Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Tripura on March 8 to attend the Bhumi Pujan ceremony of the new Forensic Science University that will be built in the state, according to Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.

Given the state's current political situation, the Union Home Minister's visit is crucial, and his visit will undoubtedly play a key role in planning the party's future course of action when vital by-elections are slated before the 2023 assembly elections. According to Deb, Shah will lay the foundation stone for the Forensic Science University building, which will be followed by the Bhumi Pujan ritual.

The Home Minister's visit falls on the same day as the Biplab Kumar Deb-led government completes its fourth year in power. The likelihood of Shah attending a gathering to commemorate the formation of the BJP-IPFT government in Tripura, which dethroned the Left from its bastion, is quite likely. Deb was talking with members of the press before attending a meeting of party MPs at his official house. He said that the administration has done a significant amount of work in addition to the promises made before to the 2018 assembly elections.

"Conspiracies to tarnish the image of our government remained a perpetual problem," Deb said, slamming the opposition. The people of Tripura foiled these plans and responded accordingly to those who were engaged."
