Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh has set a record by administering more than 33 crore vaccines in the ongoing vaccination drive to protect against corona infection. The maximum number of vaccines in the country have been administered in UP. UP has topped the vaccination drive from the very beginning. In the second place, Maharashtra has 16.73 crore and in the third place, Bengal has administered 14.05 crore vaccines.

CM Yogi, while posting from the indigenous social media platform Koo , said that under the able guidance of PM Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country to provide a protective cover of more than 33 crore corona vaccines. This achievement is a result of the hard work of our health workers and the cooperation of the conscious citizens. All eligible people must get the 'vaccine of victory'! Let us know that so far 17.46 crore people in UP have taken the first dose of the vaccine and out of this, 15.22 crore people have also taken the second dose. At the same time, 32.26 lakh people have also taken pre-kashan (vigilance) dose after taking both the doses. A special vaccination drive is being carried out to further accelerate the pace of vaccination in the state.
In this campaign to be run till June 24, people are being invited to get vaccinated. Door-to-door teams are knocking with the help of ASHA workers. An appeal is being made to the missing people to get vaccinated soon to protect them from corona.
