LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh will conduct a physical verification of infrastructural facilities in madrasas. Instructions have been given under the Modern Madrasa Scheme to investigate the physical infrastructure facilities of madrasas in the state. Shakeel Ahmad Siddiqui, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Sub Secretary, issued a directive directing the creation of a committee to examine the physical infrastructure of madrasas in the state. According to a government circular, the district magistrate would investigate through the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Block Education Officer, and Block Development Officer. By May 15, the committee has to provide inquiry findings on the physical examination of buildings, property, rent demands, teachers, students, and other aspects of the Madrasas throughout the state. In Uttar Pradesh, the Madrasa Modernization Scheme covers more than 7,000 madrasas. It's also worth noting that the Uttar Pradesh government previously opted to undertake training for Madrasa teachers in order to improve their online teaching skills. The Umbrella Scheme for Providing Quality Education to Madrasas/Minorities (SPEMM), which is made up of two schemes: the Scheme for Providing Quality Education in Madrasas (SPQEM) and the Infrastructure Development of Minority Institutes, is being implemented by the Government of India's Department of School Education and Literacy (IDMI). The programme is being carried out on a national level. The Scheme for Providing Quality Education in Madrasas (SPQEM), according to the Department of School Education and Literacy, aims to improve the quality of education in Madrasas so that Muslim children can meet national standards in formal education subjects.
