Kannauj: The situation in Village Rasoolabad under Talgram police station area of Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh suddenly became uncontrollable on Saturday. In fact, three meat shops located some distance from the spot was set on fire in the afternoon to protest against the dumping of a piece of meat in a Shiva temple built in a field. In this whole case, the police administration gave this information on Saturday. However, in protest against the first incident, Hindu organisations blocked the Talgram-Indergarh road for a long time. At the same time, the police also said that when Jagdish Jatav, the priest of the shiva temple located in the field outside the village Rasoolabad, reached the temple by 4 am today, he saw pieces of meat lying in the havan kund. He reported it to the police. In this entire case, the officials immediately reached the spot and cleaned up, but in protest against the incident, Hindu organisations blocked the Talgram-Indergarh road. On the other hand, Area Officer Sadar Shiv Pratap Singh, Deputy District Magistrate Chhibramau Ashok Kumar and SHO Hari Shyam Singh pacified the people. The people who were staging the jam here were demanding the arrest of the culprits of the incident and in the meantime, they opened the jam after the assurance of the Deputy District Magistrate. Deputy District Magistrate Ashok Kumar said that an inquiry is being conducted into the incident and strict action will be taken against those who are found guilty in the case. After the incident, the atmosphere became very tense in the afternoon and a fire was set on fire in meat shops located some distance away from the spot, which the fire department controlled. On the other hand, after the atmosphere became tense, Kanpur Divisional Commissioner and Inspector General of Police, Kanpur Range, Prashant Kumar reached Talgram and took stock of the situation. District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Mishra and Superintendent of Police SP Rajesh Kumar Srivastava also reached Talgram and brought the situation under control. A heavy police force has been deployed in and around Rasoolabad village. In this case, Srivastava said that some miscreants burnt down three meat shops. The SP said that the situation is completely under control and police force has been deployed at the spot and efforts are being made to arrest the suspects.
