Lucknow: The UP Police often makes people aware of their light-hearted fun style. Recently, the Uttar Pradesh Police took to the award-winning song 'Naatu Naatu' from the film RRR to spread awareness about road safety through a tweet playing with words. UP Police's congratulatory message to team 'RRR' for winning the golden globe award for the song 'Naatu Naatu' has gone viral. In this tweet, RRR's picture describes its full form 'Respect the Red Light on the Road'. Along with this, the UP Police wrote- "Golden Globe (AL) nominations for Road Safety Rules: #Naatu, Kabhi Red Light Skip Kare; #Naatu, Kabhi Tripling Kare; #Naatu, Kabhi Drunken Driving; #Naatu, Kabhi traffic rules Tode." It simply means that one should not cross the red light of traffic, one should not do tripling on a motorcycle, no one should drive under the influence of alcohol and no one should break traffic rules. The tweet has garnered over 71,000 views and thousands of likes so far. At the same time, Rahul Sipliganj, who sang this song, has expressed the displeasure of the Uttar Pradesh Police for using his song to make people aware. ADGP (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said the song helped in creating a catchy slogan for the road safety campaign. When contacted, Additional SP Rahul Srivastava, in-charge of up police's social media center, said, "We had used the song 'Naatu Naatu' for public awareness. We are using famous Bollywood songs to create awareness. With this, the public is able to connect directly.'
