Wife jumps from 10th floor after quarrel with husband, dies painfully

Lucknow: A woman committed suicide by jumping off the 10th floor of Ghaziabad's Kotwali Indirapuram area after a dispute with her husband over something, police said on Sunday. Hearing the sound of falling from the 10th floor, the society members rushed to the spot and found the woman lying in a pool of blood. The woman died on the spot due to severe head and body injuries. After getting information about the case, the police reached the spot and took the body in its possession and sent it for post-mortem.

Tapusi Sadhu, 54, lived with her husband Sahwal Sadhu on the first floor of Tower-N of Jaipuria Sunrise Greens Society in Indirapuram. Their 26-year-old only son lives in the Netherlands and works there. Sahwal Sadhu is a manager in a steel company located in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. Around 8 am on Monday, the couple had an argument over something. After closing the gate of the flat from outside, Tapusi reached the 10th floor and jumped from the balcony there. As soon as she fell down, her head burst and she lost a lot of blood, and she died on the spot.  

At the same time, the people of the society gathered after hearing the loud noise caused by the fall. The police were informed by the locals. The police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Indirapuram police station in-charge Dev Pal Singh Pundir said preliminary investigation revealed that the woman took the extreme step following a dispute with her husband over domestic issues. No suicide note has been found from the deceased.
