Lucknow: A victim has appeared before the Kanpur Police Commissioner and pleaded for justice. The victim has accused her husband and his accomplices of taking her in a car, giving her intoxicating tea, raping her, and filming the rape. The victim has told the officer that the accused have threatened to upload her video on the internet if the old case is not withdrawn. According to the report, the victim, a resident of Khadepur Hanumant Vihar, had lodged an FIR against her husband a few days ago. She said that since the case was registered, the husband and his associates have been pressuring her to withdraw the case and threatening to kill her entire family. According to the victim, around 7:30 pm on February 11, the husband reached her residence along with three other accomplices. All were present in the white car. They threatened to frame her brother on charges of theft in the railways and get him killed. According to the victim, she panicked over the threats. Taking advantage of this, they forcibly took her in a car and took her to a hotel in Tatmil. There he was forcibly given intoxicating tea. After serving tea, she was raped and videographed. Police Commissioner BP Jogdand said the matter is being investigation, and instructions have been given to register an FIR and take action.
