Jaunpur: In the Jaunpur city Kotwali area in Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of burning about two crore rupees in a fierce fire that broke out in the BSNL warehouse in the early hours of Monday. Police sources have given information in this regard. They have told that in the Ishapur locality of Kotwali area in the district, a fire broke out in the BSNL godown from the short circuit at around 3 am today.

After this, slowly the fire took a gigantic form and on seeing it took the whole warehouse in its own right. Seeing the flames, the sleeping guard opened there and hurriedly tried to extinguish the fire, but did not succeed. After receiving the information, police and fire department officials arrived at the scene and 7 vehicles were set up to extinguish the fire.

He informed that on the information District Collector Dinesh Kumar Singh, SP Ashok Kumar, along with City Magistrate Force reached the spot and control of the fire could be found after almost 6 hours of tireless efforts. Two fire engines were called from Varanasi to extinguish the fire. BSNL officials say that there is a possibility of burning salmon of about two crore rupees in this incident.
