UP receives investment proposal of Rs 45,000 crore during corona crisis

Lucknow: During the last two years in Uttar Pradesh, during the Investors Summit and other types of investment proposals of 4.28 lakh crore have been received and now about 43% of the projects are in implementation. During the crisis of corona epidemic, a new investment proposal of Rs 45,000 crore has come in UP. UP Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana has given information in this regard.

On giving information in a press conference on Thursday, Satish Mahana has told that thus far, investment of about 1.89 lakh crore rupees from the investment proposals received in the last two years is under active stages. In the financial year 2020-21, more than 1,000 plots have been allocated by Industrial Development Authorities in Uttar Pradesh for investment projects worth about Rs 9,700 crore with a potential of 1.96 lakh employment opportunities.

He said that during the Corona crisis in Uttar Pradesh, the figures related to investment are going to give relief. The state government has been successful in attracting more than 40 new investment proposals. Among them, investment proposals worth about Rs 45,000 crore have been received from companies in 10 countries like Japan, USA (US), United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, South Korea etc.
