Minor girl kidnapped in Pilibhit, family members sit on strike

Pilibhit: In Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit district, the victim's family has accused the Sadar Kotwali police station of giving protection to the accused of not filing a complaint of the kidnapping of a minor daughter. After this allegation, the family of the girl sat on a dharna in the collectorate premises. At the same time, Kotwal, who arrived on the information of the dharna, took the victim's family to the police station and started questioning. In the case, the Superintendent of Police said that the victims are two members of the same family, who have accused their immediate nephew of kidnapping the daughter over the property.

This incident is of Shakti Mal Pakad of the police station area. The victim's family alleges that her nephews Shivam and Mohit had kidnapped her daughter earlier as well, after which the police registered an FIR and recovered the girl. After this incident, his daughter disappeared again. The family said that its complaint was lodged with Shrikant Dwivedi, the police station chief of the police station, but Kotwal did not send the accused to jail and took no action.

At the same time, Sadar Kotwal Shrikant Dwivedi informed that an FIR was registered in several sections earlier on the victim's family and his nephew Mohit. He had filed a false case earlier. They have described it as a land-related matter. Accused Mohit has given his clarification in the case. Accused Mohit said that his uncle had remarried after his grandmother's death. He said that his uncle is making false accusations.
