MLA Vinay Bihari seen with rifle in hands while riding Elephant, Police turned mute spectator

Bethia: MLA Vinay Bihari from Lauria Assembly seat of Uttar Pradesh had come to visit the 'Kans Badh Mela'. Here he arrived with his full passion. THE MLA  seen with rifles in hands were riding on the elephant. He also fired two rounds from the rifle during the period. As per the information received, the rifle license is not registered in their name.

When MLA Vinay was displaying his status, the police on the spot became a mute spectator. Vinay was riding on an elephant among thousands of police men waving rifles and firing. The incident took place during the Kansas slaughter programme at the sports ground of Macchargaon, which falls under Yogapatti police station area of Bethia district.

Vinay Bihari is also a famous Bhojpuri singer. He became an MLA from Lauria as an independent candidate in the 2010 and 2015 Bihar Assembly elections. In March 2017, they also staged a protest over road construction in their area. He had been in discussions about this. It will be interesting to see what action the police take in this case.
