25 thousand bounty crook arrested from Bulandshahr, injured in an encounter

Bulandshahr: Shootout operation by Bulandshahr police in Yogi government is underway. The mobile phone of the Khurja police in Bulandshahr was looted by a thief and after that, he was encountered by police. The injured miscreant has been admitted to Bulandshahr district hospital for treatment. Police have seized a pistol, several bullets and a scooty from the crook.

According to information, the miscreant Shahzad was fleeing from Bulandshahar late in the night on the Link Road of Delhi-Kanpur National High Way in the Katwali Khurja City area along with one of his accomplices, Asif. The news of the loot on wireless alerted the Khurja police and the accused Shahzad and his accomplice opened fire on the police as soon as they saw the red scooty on the Lancang road.

Police also opened fire on the accused. Shahzad was shot in the leg during the encounter. The gunman was injured while his partner managed to escape. Police are searching for the absconding accused. Police said, the arrested crook Shahzad is a resident of Sardhana police station area of Meerut and has more than a dozen serious cases registered against him.
