'Very well done my brother..,' Asif writes on Kanhaiya's murder, UP police arrested

Lucknow: While the negligence of the Rajasthan Police after the brutal murder of Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is being criticised from all quarters, the Uttar Pradesh Police seems to be very cautious and prompt about the case. The Noida police on Thursday (June 30, 2022) arrested a man named Asif Khan for supporting the Udaipur incident on social media.

In fact, the video of the Udaipur incident was fast going viral on social media. Asif Khan, a resident of Chaprauli village, liked the video and commented and wrote, "Very well done my brother.'' When the villagers saw this comment, they lodged a complaint with the expressway police station. The Noida police promptly arrested Asif Khan and seized his mobile phone. He has been booked under Section 505(2) (circulation of false statements, public grievances, etc., with intent to create a sense of enmity, hatred or enmity between different communities). The incident was also reported by the UP Police on Twitter.

It is being told that Asif Khan is originally a resident of Muzaffarnagar and his father's name is Yusuf Khan. Both of them have been living in Chaprauli village for the past 25 years. According to SHO Sudhir Kumar, a case has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested.
