Lucknow: A woman was given triple talaq by her husband for dowry in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly. Earlier, the in-laws snatched her milk-mouthed son from the woman. After giving Triple Talaq, the woman was beaten up and thrown out of the house. The case pertains to Police Station Izzatnagar area. Police have registered a case against five people, including the husband. The woman, a resident of Pirbahora in Izzatnagar, was married to Naeem, a resident of Sahasiya Hussainpur in CBGanj, two years ago. She has a one-year-old son.
It is alleged that the in-laws used to torture the woman the day she came for dowry. They asked for a Bullet. At 10 pm on July 8, neighbours living in their daughter's in-laws said over the phone that their daughter had been beaten up and thrown out of the house. The victim's father along with his sister reached his daughter's house at 11 pm.
It is alleged that the in-laws beat up the woman and snatched away the one-year-old son and threw the victim out of the house in a pregnant condition and gave her Triple Talaq. A complaint in the matter was lodged with the Izzatnagar police station. A case has been registered against husband Nayeem, father-in-law Hasan Khan, mother-in-law Bhuri, sister-in-law Chamki, and maternal uncle Hanif alias Bhure.
