Yogi government in action mode, 20 senior IAS officers transferred

Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath government of UP has transferred 20 high officials of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on Monday night. CM Yogi has appointed Alok Kumar-III and Sanjay Prasad as his secretaries. Among other officers transferred, Additional Chief Secretary for Science and Technology Kumar Kamlesh has been ordered to go to the same level in the Planning and Program Implementation Department.

Sugarcane Commissioner Manish Chauhan has been made the Commissioner of Food and Logistics Department and his place has been given to Sanjay Bhusreddy, Chief Secretary, Sugarcane Development and Excise. Lucknow Commissioner Anil Garg has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC). Mukesh Meshram has been appointed on him. Mukesh was previously a secretary in health education.

Rupesh Kumar has been appointed Special Secretary of Health Education and Sanjay Kumar Khatri, Special Secretary, Home and Jail Administration, has been appointed Joint Managing Director with Ramesh Ranjan in Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam. Among the other officers transferred, Special Secretary of Basic Education, Chandra Shekhar has been made the Commissioner of Chitrakoot Division. Rajesh Kumar II has been made special secretary in the sports department.
