Male: Pakistan has suffered another major setback in the international arena. All claims made by Pakistan regarding Kashmir in the South Asian Speaker's Committee held in the Maldives were quashed. According to sources, while accepting the manifesto, Pakistan's parliamentary representative ignored all claims made.

Earlier, Pakistan was highly insulted in the Parliament of Maldives on Sunday. During the Asia Speakers Summit, Harvansh Prasad, the Deputy Speaker of the Upper House of India, lashed out at Pakistan. Dr. Harivansh had denied the Deputy Speaker of Pakistan Assembly, Kasim Suri, to raise the issue of Kashmir. Dr. Harivansh called Kashmir an internal issue of India.

Dr. Harivansh hit back at Qasim Suri, saying, "We strongly oppose raising the internal issue of India on this forum. We oppose the politicization of this forum. Terrorism is a big threat to the world. Pakistan Terrorism across the border has to be stopped keeping in mind regional interests. No written statement should find a unanimous place. " Let me tell you that even before that many countries have advised Pakistan not to interfere on Kashmir issue.
