Uttar Pradesh: Man escapes by slapping chowki in-charge during mask checking

Kushinagar: In order to check the growing infection of corona, the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has ordered strict handling of those who do not wear masks and collect fines. The Yogi government has issued an order saying that it has ordered a fine of 1000 rupees for the first time if caught without a mask followed by a fine of Rs 10,000.

But even then people are being negligent and the police are forced to follow the covid protocol. The latest case has come to light from Kushinagar district where a youth roaming without a mask was stopped and scolded by the police and he slapped the chowki in-charge and fled. Another policeman posted at the spot tried to nab the youth by running but the youth escaped. However, police have registered a case under serious sections against the unidentified youth and are on the lookout for the youth.

In Fazilnagar town of Patherwa police station in Kushinagar, the chowki in-charge sat in his vehicle checking the mask and asking people to wear masks. Meanwhile, a young man was roaming the market without a mask. When the chowki in-charge called the youth and asked him to put on the mask, he replied back to the police. After which the chowki in-charge gently slapped him and asked him to leave the house wearing a mask from the front. As soon as he slapped, the young man also got out of his way and slapped the chowki in-charge.
