Dehradun: Two lakh 59 thousand students of 10th and 12th standards of all government colleges and Uttarakhand Board of Uttarakhand will now be given tablet money and not tablets. According to sources, 12,000 rupees will be sent to the accounts of the concerned students through DBT. It is being said that after the process of purchase of tablets is questioned, the decision has been taken by the Government, it may be announced soon. Some of the same firms floated tenders, but there were apprehensions of a major scam in tablet purchases at prices of more than Rs 300 crore.
