Dehradun: Out of 70 assembly seats in Uttarakhand, about 40 names were filed in the Congress Central Election Committee meeting but 30 seats could not be cleared. The Central Election Committee has asked the Screening Committee to submit its report after completing the homework again. It is being speculated that Congress candidates will be announced only when 70 assembly seats are cleared. The Central Election Committee meeting agreed on 40 seats, but due to the separation of reports of observers and state leaders sent by in-charge Devendra Yadav in another 30 seats, the Central Election Committee has asked the screening committee to prepare the final list after re-brainstorming. It is being reported that the first list of congress will now come by Monday or Tuesday. However, there is also talk that the list of seats that have been cleared should be released on Sunday itself. The meeting also discussed how long BJP is releasing its list of candidates. Strategically, it is also important when and which candidates the BJP releases. It is being said that it may take some more time for the first list of candidates to come out. Earlier, the Congress Screening Committee held marathon meetings for two consecutive days on Thursday and Friday. But now there may be a re-screening committee meeting.
