Heavy rainfall in Dehradun and snowfall in Badrinath and Hemkund

Badrinath, Hemkund Sahib, Rudranath and high altitude areas received snowfall at 5 am today. There was also rain in the lower areas of the district. Due to this, cold has increased here. Due to the rains, cold winds have also brought relief to the people from the humid climate.

There was sunshine in Kashipur, Pantnagar, Rudrapur. Almora, Haldwani, Bageshwar were cloudy. There were torrential rain and hailstorm in Bhimtal. Due to which crops have been damaged. Due to a malfunction in the power line, electricity was lost for nine hours in 35 villages including Pachar, Reema, Kidai and Sungard in Bageshwar.
