Lockdown will continue in Red Zone, do not worry about economy: PM Modi

New Delhi: Amidst the global epidemic coronavirus, PM Narendra Modi spoke to the Chief Ministers of all the states on Monday. In this meeting, PM Modi, while discussing about opening lockdown, said that a policy will have to be prepared on it, on which the state government will have to work in detail.

PM Narendra Modi said in this meeting that the state government should formulate its policy on how to open the lockdown. Lockdown can be opened according to its areas Red, Green and Orange zones in the state. Lockdown will continue in states where there are more cases, district wise relief will be given in those states where there are less cases of infection. PM Narendra Modi said that do not worry about the economy, our economy is good. Union Health Ministry has divided the different districts of the country according to the zone, now more than 170 districts are included in the Red Zone.

Let us tell you that due to Coronavirus crisis, the lockdown of the country till May 3 is in force. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi discussed with the Chief Ministers of many states about the strategy ahead. In this, many states proposed to pursue the lockdown and remove the phased lockdown.
