Vice President Venkaiah Naidu is going on a foreign tour for his five-day visit. He has left for Africa. During his journey, he will first go to Comoros and then Sierra Leone. During the visit, he will discuss bilateral and global issues with the top leadership of Africa at the delegation-level and will also sign bilateral agreements with these countries. In his statement, Venkaiah Naidu tweeted that India and Africa have deep historical ties. Africa has made rapid economic progress in recent years. Africa's progress on infrastructure and social standards such as education, health, is also commendable. According to media reports, India is always ready to cooperate as much as possible in the progress of Africa. It goes on to say that this is Naidu's second visit to African countries as Vice President. Earlier in November last year, he visited Botswana, Zimbabwe and Malawi. During his five-day visit, he will meet President Julius Mada Biao on 13 October. During this time, many important agreements are about to be signed.
