Bhubaneswar: The Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu is scheduled to visit Odisha on April 2. According to the official itinerary, Naidu is scheduled to land at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 11.15 am on April 2 and will head straight to Raj Bhawan by road for lunch. Later in the evening at 5.20 pm, he will inaugurate the 600th birth anniversary celebrations of Adi Kabi Sarala Das at Sarala Bhawan in Cuttack. The Vice Ppresdinet will return to Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar where he will spend the night. The Vice President is arriving here on April 2 next on a two-day visit to the state. Special Secretary Home Santosh Bala said the Vice President will go to Raj Bhawan soon after he arrives at the Biju Patnaik International Airport on April 2 morning. Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra had said on Wednesday. As per the itinerary, he will return to Raj Bhawan for lunch and at around 4.40 pm the same day, he will return to New Delhi in a special flight of the Indian Air Force (IAF) at around 5 pm.
