On the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week the outstanding performers of Indian Institute of Soyabean Research were felicitated. The 'Vigilance Awareness Week' was organised at Indian Institute of Soybean Research from 27th October to 2nd November. Valedictory cum-prize distribution ceremony was held on Monday. At the outset, RN Singh welcomed all the attendees and employees of the Institute who also participated virtually. In this programme, Vigilance Officer of the Institute, Dr Sanjay Gupta presented a brief report on various activities and competitions organised during Vigilance Awareness Week in the Institute and also announced the list of winners of various competitions. He made a special mention about the guest lecture delivered by SK Sinha, Chief Administrative Officer, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. Sinha explained methods of vigilance for the eradication of corruption, the need for vigilance and its utility in government organizations. He also appealed to everyone to contribute their honest efforts in the progress of the country. Dr. Gupta in his brief address appreciated the staff of the Indian Institute of Soybean Research who is doing their sincere effort with utmost honesty for the economic progress of soybean farmers for enhancing its productivity. On this occasion, the winners of various competitions organized during the vigilance week were honored with prizes and certificates by Dr. Neeta Khandekar, acting director of the institute. In this context, she encouraged everyone to be more vigilant while executing soybean research and development programs for the progress of the institute and its stakeholders.
