Violence erupts on Ram Navami in Bengal, stones pelted in many areas

On the occasion of Ram Navami, there has been a lot of violence in West Bengal. There is a procession being taken out at Kajipara in Howrah. Meanwhile, for some reason, the atmosphere deteriorated, and the matter has reached the extent of arson. Many vehicles and shops were torched. Now the statement of Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has come on the matter. They have also given the name riots to this violence. Along with this, the Bharatiya Janata Party has been targeted. On the other hand, the BJP has also retaliated. In her statement, Mamta has said that she has already said that while travelling through Muslim-dominated areas, be careful and avoid them. The Bengal Chief Minister also claimed that the route of the Shobha Yatra had been changed. He said that action will be taken against the policemen in whose ranks suspicious behaviour is found.

Violence took place in Shibpur, near Howrah. The case is Shibpur of Howrah. Reports say that there was a procession taken out by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Banjarg Dal in the evening. During this time, the violence increased. The reason for the violence has not been revealed at the moment. But some of the later videos have definitely surfaced. Many vehicles have also been set on fire there; it is clearly visible in the video. Along with that, there has also been stone-pelting. At present, the police have detained several people, and further investigation is underway.

Mamta has said about this violence that 'my eyes and ears are open'. I can see everything about which I had already warned not to take the procession through Muslim-dominated areas; they should have been careful. I said that violence can happen if a rally is taken out on Ram Navami. Mamta has further given the name riots to the Howrah violence. She said, 'I have heard that there has been a riot in Howrah.' Let us inform you that Chief Minister Mamata was sitting on a 30-hour dharna against the Central Government in Kolkata. This strike ended today. Only after its completion did Mamta also speak on Howrah violence.
