Amaravathi: 70 students from Andhra Pradesh are stranded at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Imphal and their families have demanded the state government to send a special aircraft to safely evacuate them from Manipur. Parents of the students have asked the Andhra Pradesh government to make preparations similar to those being made by the Telangana government, which is dispatching a special plane to evacuate its inhabitants, out of concern for the safety of the students. To facilitate Andhra Pradesh students in Manipur, the state government has set up a helpline and control room at AP Bhavan in New Delhi. To remove its residents who are stranded in Manipur, the Telangana government has dispatched an aircraft. According to the state government, every effort is being made to protect the safety of Telangana residents and students in Manipur. To keep an eye on the situation in the state of Manipur and to defend the rights of the Telangana population there, a special cell has been set up. According to information currently available, roughly 250 students from the Telangana state are enrolled in a range of educational institutions in Imphal and the neighbourhood. Telangana's administration has made the decision to fly its students from Imphal to Hyderabad right away. On Sunday, a special flight has been scheduled from Imphal to Hyderabad specifically for this purpose.
