Watch, Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh Teaser: ‘Vicharon Ka Yudh’, The Film release on this date

The teaser of one of the most awaited films of the year 2023 Rajkumar Santoshi ‘s 'Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh', has dropped by the makers. The team took to social media and shares the Teaser with the caption, "War Begins!. The teaser is out now! This Republic Day, watch #GandhiGodseEkYudh, in cinemas near you on 26th January 2023!"

The daughter of Rajkumar, Tanisha Santoshi features in the cast of her father's comeback film. The teaser of the film, set in early post-independence India of 1947-48 It based on the war of ideologies between Nathuram Godse and Mahatma Gandhi. The film will be released in theatres on January 26, coinciding with the 74th Republic Day. It will feature veteran actor Deepak Antani as Mahatma Gandhi for the second time after the 2016 film Gandhiji My Mentor.

 

The film also features Chinmay Mandlekar will be seen playing Nathuram Godse in this Rajkumar Santoshi directorial. Chinmay impressed the masses with his exemplary performance as Farooq Malik Bitta in The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film also features Arif Zakariya, and Pawan Chopra. The movie will also feature debutant Anuj Saini in a pivotal role.

In the teaser Mahatma Gandhi survives an assassination bid and meets his attacker, Nathuram Godse, in prison. What follows is a fiery debate and a clash of ideologies between them. The film, produced by Manila Santoshi, is all set to hit the theatres on Republic Day, January 26. Santoshi's last directorial -- Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’cruz.
