Mohanlal, the Complete Actor turned a year older this week. The actor celebrated his 61st birthday on May 21, and many celebrities from across the Indian film industry poured in wishes. Considering the pandemic, the actor limited the celebration and observed his birthday with his family at his Chennai home. Mohanlal will be next seen in ‘Marakkar - Arabikkadalinte Simham’, a period drama helmed by Priyadarshan.

Malayali movie buffs could never get over the campus movie ‘Classmates', helmed by Lal Jose. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, Narain, and Jayasurya, who played the lead roles in the 2006 film, recently reunited. The actors' virtual reunion 2.0 definitely made headlines. The cinephiles were elated watching their favourite stars together.

Policeman-turned-actor PC George passed away on May 14. The actor, who is best known for his onscreen villain characters was reportedly undergoing treatment for a kidney-related ailment for some time and breathed his last in a private hospital in Kochi on Friday (May 14). He was 74. The actor debuted in movies with the 1976 Malayalam film ‘Amba Ambika Ambaalika’. He is best known for the performances in the movies, ‘Chanakyan’, ‘Adharvam’, ‘Innale’, ‘Sangham’, and ‘Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal’. Mollywood celebs bid an emotional farewell to the late actor.

Actor Siju Wilson and his wife Shruthi Vijayan turned parents recently. The lovely couple welcomed their first child a baby girl on Sunday (May 17) in a hospital in Mumbai. The actor announced the happy news through his social media handle.“Happy to Announce the arrival of Our Sweet Darling Baby Girl, Last night May 17th. Thanks to nature #HappyUs,” Siju Wilson shared.

Nayanthara recently took the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The registration for people above the age of 18 has started and the latest celebrity to take the first dose of vaccine is the Lady Superstar of the South, Nayanthara. She took the vaccine from a facility in Chennai and was accompanied by her alleged boyfriend director Vignesh Sivan. The couple took the first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine and shared the update with fans.
