In view of all these upcoming festivals, the Railways have given great relief to the passengers. Recently, Western Railway has decided to run 12 pairs of special trains. According to the information received, the Western Railway (WR) recently said, "In view of the Dussehra and Diwali festivals, 12 pairs of special trains will be run for the convenience of passengers, which will run 156 rounds." WR said in a release issued on Friday, 'Out of these 12 pairs of special trains, 5 pairs will run from Branda Terminus, two each from Indore and Udhna and one pair each from Okha, Porbandar and Gandhidham stations. According to the release, "All trains will be run as special trains and will have a special fare." All these trains will be fully reserved and bookings for these are scheduled to start from October 17 to 22. Chief Public Relations Officer Sumit Thakur said on Friday, 'for the convenience of the passengers, eight pair festival special trains will run for different destinations. Of the special trains, six pairs of trains will run from Mumbai and one pair from Indore, while one pair of special trains will pass through Western Railway at Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara and Ratlam stations.
