WhatsApp Introduces AI Stickers and Community Group Suggestions for Beta Users

WhatsApp has introduced two exciting features, 'AI generated Stickers' and 'Community Group suggestions,' exclusively for its Beta users, as reported by WABetaInfo. The AI Stickers functionality is currently being tested by a select group of beta testers, accessible through the Google Play Beta Program under version 2.23.17.14.

This innovative feature empowers users to craft and share stickers that are created using cutting-edge AI technology. Upon opening the keyboard within the sticker tab, users will notice a fresh "Create" button. By utilizing this button, individuals can input a description that prompts the generation of AI-driven stickers tailored to the provided content. These stickers are meticulously crafted with secure AI technology hailing from Meta.

In cases where any sticker is flagged as inappropriate or potentially harmful, users have the option to report it to Meta. Moreover, these AI-generated stickers come embedded with a unique identifier, setting them apart from manually designed stickers. The wider rollout of this feature is anticipated in the approaching weeks, bringing this AI-powered sticker creation tool to more users.

In addition to the AI stickers, WhatsApp is also introducing a novel feature called 'Communities' as part of its WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.17.15. This feature facilitates the recommendation of groups to enhance the sense of community. Participants within a community can now propose additional groups that align with shared interests. For streamlined organization, community administrators will access a dedicated section listing all recommended groups.

To propose a group for consideration, community members simply navigate to the community screen, peruse its existing groups, and utilize the provided button to introduce a new group. However, it's important to note that these suggested groups will require administrative approval before they are incorporated into the community fold.
