New Delhi: The confrontation between Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government and LG VK Saxena is increasing. Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena has written a letter to CM Arvind Kejriwal about his recent comment 'Who is LG?' Recently, CM Kejriwal allegedly made sharp comments against the Lieutenant Governor in the Assembly, expressing displeasure over the issue of teachers being stopped from training in Finland. Delhi LG VK Saxena has written to CM Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of making 'misleading, derogatory remarks' and resorting to 'low-level rhetoric'. LG Saxena said that I am not working as the principal of CM Arvind Kejriwal, but as a gentle but conscientious voice of the people. The Lt Governor has written in his letter, Dear Kejriwal ji, it has come to my notice through media reports that you have made several statements in the last few days inside and outside the State Assembly, which are of varying and basically misleading, nature and are humiliating too. As 'Who is the LG' and 'Where did he come from', etc can be answered. Because from the inception day, very low-level rhetoric is being done in this. The Lt Governor in his letter said that, however, I came to know through media reports that on Monday, 16/01/2023, you were protesting outside the Raj Niwas along with others leaving the Vidhan Sabha and demanding to meet me. After this, I invited you and the Deputy CM. I wanted the Chief Minister to come to see me and I would have lunch with you. However, you did not come to meet me. LG further wrote that you would agree that in view of the short notice and sudden demand made from your side, holding a meeting with 70-80 people at one go is not possible nor would it serve any concrete purpose. Unfortunately, you proceeded to make a convenient political issue that 'LG refused to meet me (Kejriwal)'. LG said that I was shocked to know that Delhi is facing many serious development-related issues. Instead of meeting me to take the matter to its logical conclusion, you resorted to protest just for show. TMC's tension increased before panchayat elections!
