Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that in countries where there are high cases of coronavirus, such programs should not be organized, which is expected to spread coronavirus rapidly. On Monday, the WHO also said that opening an economy-society without controlling the virus means inviting the tragedy. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom admitted that "We are 8 months into the #COVID19 pandemic & we understand that people are tired & yearn to get on with their lives, but no country can just pretend the pandemic is over. This virus spreads easily, & we all must remain serious about suppressing its transmission & saving lives. We want children to go to school and people in their offices, but we want it to be done safely. The WHO once again warned that no country can directly say that the pandemic is over now. The reality is that this virus spreads easily. A situation of tragedy can arise by opening an economy and society without controlling the virus". According to a Reuters report, the WHO said "There is a possibility of widespread infection at stadiums, night clubs, religious places and other crowded places.
