New Delhi: A meeting is underway at Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi's residence at 10 Janpath over election strategist Prashant Kishor joining the Congress. The final meeting on Prashant Kishor's proposal is underway, after which it will be decided whether he will join the party before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Members of the seven-member committee headed by P Chidambaram, which submitted a report to Prashant Kishor on his proposal, are meeting at 10 Janpath. The committee set up to prepare a report on Prashant Kishor's proposal is headed by former Union minister P Chidambaram. Senior leaders K C Venugopal, Mukul Wasnik, Ambika Soni, Jairam Ramesh, Digvijay Singh and Randeep Singh Surjewala have been made members of the committee. The congress committee has prepared this report on PK's proposal, which is under discussion. According to sources, the Chindabaram-led committee will recommend whether election strategist Prashant Kishor should be placed in the party or not, and in what role and to what extent his proposal needs to be implemented.
