Woman burnt alive to protest rape

Korba. Recently, a crime case has come up in Korba district of Chhattisgarh, where a woman has been burnt alive after resisting molestation and rape. In this case, the victim has been burnt by about 53%. Police have arrested 3 accused in the case. This is the case of Morga Police Outpost area of Bango Police Station in Korba District and Bango Police Station Incharge has confirmed the incident.

The 28-year-old victim has been admitted to the hospital for treatment and after primary treatment, she has been referred to the Higher Center in critical condition. It has been reported that the Korba Police while talking about the matter said that, a woman was reported to have burnt alive in the Morga Police Outpost area of Podi Block. The post in-charge Ashok Pandey arrived at the scene of the incident and it was found that on Wednesday night, the man reached the victim's house and tried to rape her.

The victim was alone at the time of the incident. The police have come to know that the man tried to burn the woman alive by putting kerosene on the woman after opposing the rape. Hearing the voice of the woman, people arrived and informed the police about the incident. After this, the police reached the spot. The police have taken the accused into custody and the investigation has started.
