New Delhi: On Tuesday (January 3, 2023), PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the 108th Indian Science Congress. Addressing the ceremony through video conferencing, Prime Minister Modi said that the role of India's scientific power will be very important in the height which India will reach in the next 25 years. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi said that India has now got the responsibility of G-20 presidency and women lead development is a matter of great priority even in the major topics of G-20. He said that the development of science in India, to meet the needs of India, should be the basic motivation of our scientific community. He said that science in India should make India self-reliant. Prime Minister Modi said that we need to work on such issues, which are important for the entire humanity and make India important for everyone. He said that if the scientific community works toward energy needs, it will help the country.
