World Boxing Championships: Youth team will be led by world champion Mary Kom

New Delhi: World champion MC Mary Kom will go on to win medals at the World Women's Boxing Championships due to her great experience. Six-time world champion Mary Kom has a brilliant career, but she has not been able to win the world title in the 51 kg category and in the city of Russia, she would like to win this title. The Indian boxer won the bronze medal and the Asian Games gold medal in the Olympics despite stiff competition in the 51kg category.

Former champion L Sarita Devi (60 kg) will also have their eyes on everyone. He had beaten the previous bronze medalist and the much younger Simranjit Kaur than he did in the trial. India Open gold medalists Neeraj (57 kg) and Jamuna Boro (54 kg) are among the five boxers who will make their debut from this competition and are capable of upsets. Apart from this, East Asian champion Sweety Boora will be keeping an eye on 75 kg category. He won the silver medal in this competition in 2014. This time in the 48kg category of Mary Kom's favorite weight, Manju Rani will compete.
