Rohit Sharma has become the first player in the world to score the most runs as an opener in the first Test match. Kepler Wessels scored 208 against England in 1982 at Brisbane ground. At the same time, Rohit Sharma has scored 226 runs (till 50 runs in the second innings) so far. Kepler had scored 162 in the first innings and 46 in the second innings.
