SRH dominated RCB's bowlers at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, April 15th, smashing the highest-ever total in IPL history. They scored a whopping 287 runs, with Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen, and later Abdul Samad shining on the flat batting track.

This remarkable performance by SRH comes just days after they set a new record for the highest-ever total in the tournament against MI on March 27th, scoring 277 runs. RCB, led by Faf du Plessis, opted to bat first, but SRH's batters controlled the game from start to finish. Travis Head set the tone early on, scoring a rapid century off just 39 balls. After his dismissal for 102 off 41 balls, Heinrich Klaasen continued the onslaught, contributing 67 runs off 31 balls. Although Klaasen fell in the final ball of the 17th over, Abdul Samad and Aiden Markram continued to punish the RCB bowlers, propelling SRH to their highest-ever total in IPL history.

SRH's total of 287/3 is the second-highest ever recorded in T20 cricket. The record for the highest total in T20 cricket is held by Nepal, who scored 314/3 against Mongolia in the 2023 Asian Games.
