Lucknow: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has geared up to make the Ramotsav, to be held on April 17, grand at Nirala Nagar railway ground in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Six thousand Rams will set a world record by boarding the Pushpak vimana prepared here. The VHP hopes that the event will be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. Because so far only 107 Rams have been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records for riding together. A meeting of district office bearers led by District Magistrate Dr Veena Arya Patel was held at the BJP South office in Keshav Nagar on Thursday. VHP's keynote speaker Madhuram Shiva said that the event is being organised to enhance the mutual love of Hindus towards Hindus and to envision a strong Hindu Rashtra. The Ramotsava programme will be welcomed with a Shivgarjana instrument. Selfie points are being created from place to place. Cutouts of Jain, Sikh, and Buddhist communities will be installed to connect them with the event. A drone by IIT Kanpur will shower flowers over Pushpak aircraft. Children from 14 districts will take part in various forms of Ram. All India Executive Member of The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Bhaiyyaji Joshi, VHP Central General Secretary Milind Parande and Sadhvi Ritambara will be the keynote speakers at the event.
