PAK vs BAN: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 44 runs

Pakistan won the first Test match against Bangladesh. Pakistan has taken a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series being played under the World Test Championship. In the first Test match played in Rawalpindi, host Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 44 runs in a one-sided match. Pakistan took the lead on the fourth day by bundling the Bangladeshi batsmen for 168 runs in the second innings. In the match, Pakistan won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first. In response, the visiting team was all out for 233 runs in the first innings. In the first innings, Mohammad Mithun scored 63 runs for Bangladesh, while Shaheen Afridi took the maximum four wickets from Pakistan.

For your information, let us tell you that after this, Pakistan scored 445 runs in the first innings thanks to the centuries of Shaan Masood (100), Babar Azam (143) and half-century innings of Asad Shafiq (65), Harris Sohail (75). In the first innings for Bangladesh, Abu Zayed and Rubal Hossain took three wickets each.

According to the reports, after trailing by 212 runs from Pakistan, Bangladesh team could not do anything special even while batting in the second innings and the whole team got stuck for 168 runs on the fourth day. In the second innings for Pakistan, Nasim Shah took 4 wickets including a hat-trick while spin bowler Yasir Shah also took 4 wickets while dismissing the batsmen of the lower order.
