Bengaluru Raptors, led by world number two Tai Xu Ying, won the Premier Badminton League title for the second time in a row on Sunday, February 9, 2020, defeating the North Eastern Warriors. Bengaluru Raptors have become the first team to become champions twice in a row. The Raptors won 4–2, performing well in the final of the league's fifth season.

B Sai Praneeth and Tai Xu Ying tied for victory: For your information, let us tell you that Praneeth and world number two Tai Tzu, who won bronze medal in World Championship, Chang Peng Soon of North Eastern Warriors in mixed doubles And defeated Iom Hee Won 4-2. B Sai Praneeth won 14–15, 15–9, 15–3 after losing the first set to Hong Kong player Lee Cheuk Yiu in the men's singles match.

According to reports, the men's doubles pair of Lee Yong Di and Bodin Isara beat Ryang Agnung Saputaro and Adrian George 15-11 13-15 15-14 in the North Eastern Warriors' trump match. The third match of the match was in the women's singles where Taipei Ying of Bengaluru Raptors came out heavily against Mitchell Lee of North Eastern Warriors. Tai Xu Ying made it 2–2 by naming it 15–9, 15–12.
